With the college application process in full swing, the State University of New York system is encouraging students to apply for admission with no application fee.
Now through Sunday, November 6, students can apply to up to five SUNY campuses with no fees attached. Applications can be submitted through ApplySUNY or the Common Application. No special code is needed.
Additional materials, like school transcripts and letters of recommendation, can be submitted after the November 6 deadline. If a student is applying for special consideration such as Early Decision or Early Action, contact the campus directly for relevant deadline information.
Students can also participate in SUNY Financial Aid Day events, where financial aid professionals will answer questions and provide assistance regarding aid applications, types of aid available, and the award process. In-person sessions are scheduled at Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday, November 12, 2022 and on the UAlbany campus on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
