COVID 19 Update March 23, 2020
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS; UPDATED ON MARCH 23RD. Q: How long are classes cancelled? Waterford-Halfmoon UFSD as a component member of the WSWHE BOCES jointly cancelled all classes, K-12 until Sunday, April 19,2020. Per the Governor’s March 16 executive orders (202.4), New York state school classes are cancelled for two weeks beginning March 18. For WHUFSD, this means classes would be cancelled until April 1st. The governor’s executive order makes it clear that any further cancellation of classes will come directly from NYS and will not be a local decision. We will remain closed until April 19th, UNLESS, the Governor states that schools can reopen after April 1st. We will update all families with any information regarding school closures.
