2023-24 school year - 1.0 FTE 7-12 Special Education Teacher
Schedule will include Consultant Teacher Services and Special Classes

Experience with:
- Modifying Curriculum
- Differentiated Lesson Planning
- Effective Student Management Techniques
- Developing and Implementing Behavior Plans (as needed)
- Supporting Students in the General Education Classroom
- Effective Communication Skills with Colleagues, Students, and Parents

Permanent, 10-month, tenure track position in our Jr./Sr. High School
Salary and benefits per the WTA contract

Teaching Assistants
Waterford-Halfmoon Elementary and Waterford-Halfmoon Jr./Sr. High School are searching for individuals who are looking for a career in the education sector.

This position offers competitive pay and benefits. Staff members have the ability to participate in the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) through New York State. The successful candidate will work with students in the general education classroom setting reinforcing academic material, providing program modifications and testing accommodations.

Candidates must be flexible in working with many teachers, be able to accurately report student progress to their case managers on a weekly basis, and have a positive attitude.

Full-time, 10-month position. Benefits per the CSEA contract. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Elementary School, 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m for the High School. Applicants must have appropriate New York State Teaching Assistant certification.

Non-certified substitute teachers: $101.05 per day.
