Morning Announcements

Good morning, Waterford-Halfmoon! Today is Tuesday, December 9. It is a “B” day.

  • Please join the Waterford-Halfmoon Music Department for their Annual Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 10, at 7 PM in the auditorium. This performance will feature the Junior High Chorus, Junior High Band, Fordian Flight Vocal Jazz Ensemble, High School Chorus, and High School Band. Please come out, enjoy, and support Fordian Music!
  • Are you interested in the technical aspects of putting on a show? Are you interested in staying out of the spotlight, helping behind the scenes, and making "theater magic"? Join the Stage Crew! There will be a meeting for students interested in joining the stage crew for our Drama Club production of Beetlejuice, Jr, on Thursday, December 11, after school in the music room. See Mrs. Koch with any questions.
  • Calling all Seniors! Please email your baby photos to Mrs. Ramundo by December 12. These photos will be used for the Yearbook and the Senior Slideshow, so it is important to email Mrs. Ramundo a photo ASAP!
  • Attention 7th- and 8th-graders: Essays for the Elks Americanism contest are due this week. Please give them to your social studies teacher or Mr. Richardson.
  • We are excited to announce a brand new club at our school: The Fordian Post! This club will meet once a week to create a digital newspaper, published three times a year, at the end of each sports season. The Foridan Post is perfect for aspiring journalists, photographers, sports writers, graphic designers, artists, editors, and website designers. The goal of The Foridan Post is to bring our school community together, give students a creative voice, and offer hands-on experience in journalism, editing, photography, and design- all while keeping everyone informed about what's happening around campus. If you're interested in joining, we are looking for writers, photographers, graphic artists, and sports writers. Our first informational meeting will be this Monday, December 15, in room 214
