The safety of our students, staff, and school community is always the district’s top priority.  

In accordance with state regulations, school districts are required to develop district wide safety plans. Districtwide safety plans provide broad concepts, policies and procedures, including the number and types of safety drills to be completed each year.  

Our original plan was adopted by the Board of Education on July 1, this is an amended plan that includes language pertaining to Desha's Law (cardiac emergency response plan, pg. 10) required by the Governor on July 24, 2025. 

The district invites members of the school community to review the amended 2025-26 Draft School Safety Plan and provide comments on the amended plan by using the District Wide Safety Plan Feedback Form by September 11, 2025. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
