The Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District Board of Education Facilities Meeting held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 was called to order by Mr. Pomerville at 4:00pm.

PRESENT: Marcia Ricci, Tammi Dehler, David Lee, Jamie Maloney, Carolyn Bell, Denise Carutasu

ABSENT: Jack Catanzarita

ALSO PRESENT: Patrick Pomerville, Christopher Scanlan, Joel Richardson, Vince Popolizio, Mari Cecil and Taylor Woolf from Bernier and Carr Associates (BCA)

The district’s facilities committee was able to define the specific scope of the Phase 2 Capital Project.  

The district will move forward with plans for Phase 2 Reconstruction (Proposition 1) with a target referendum vote set for the week of December 9-13th. (as per document 2019-003, 8/27/2019).

The committee would like to add a Phase 2 Proposition 2A (Construct Wide Body Track & Turf Field) as a separate Proposition on the referendum to be determined by voters.

It was also mentioned that the district needs to review the current 5 year plan to make sure all the items in Phase 2 are included in the 5 year plan.  

BCA will work to define more specifics with the scope of this project and share this information with Bernard P Donegan Municipal Finance group so they can prepare detailed information on specific tax rate impact and debt service planning. 
  
Now that the scope has been defined, other areas of planning can now move forward.

On motion by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mrs. Dehler and by a vote of 6 - 0 the Board adjourned at 5:46pm.
